BARCELONA – After Saturday night 's 4-2 defeat against Valencia, Barcelona president Joan Gaspart
spoke with the players and reconfirmed Van Gaal as head coach. Here is what Van Gaal had to say
after the meeting:
"We've met to resolve this particular moment. I have faith in this side and for this will not buy any more players. We will finish this season with these players."
Throughout the week Van Gaal spoke a great deal about bringing Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink from Chelsea.
