PERUGIA - Inter missed out on winning the title of 'winter champions' as a result of this afternoon's 4-1 defeat at the hands of Perugia at Renato Curi stadium. Here are some more declarations from Nerazzurri coach Hector Cuper:
"Too much has been said about the great help Batistuta could give us. We risk losing our concentration. It will be fantastic if he arrives, as I believe he will. But we have to get back to work immediately in order to start off again on the right foot. I don't want to use Batistuta as an excuse to justify the defeat, but perhaps all this talk of him has led to us losing the right concentration. The reason for the defeat is that we became distracted when the second goal was scored, and, above all, in the second half.
