FONTANA TO INTER CHANNEL: "IT'S TOO COLD. THE LEGA COULD AVOID HAVING EVENING KICK-OFFS."

APPIANO GENTILE - "We played a fantastic first half," said keeper Alberto 'Jimmy' Fontana to Inter Channel today about the Nerazzurri's 2-0 win over Modena last Sunday. "It wasn't easy because no match is already won."

Looking ahead to this weekend's match away to Perugia, Fontana admitted, "They are an excellent team who have avoided relegation for years, and not just by chance."

The cold weather has been a hot topic over the last few days. Fontana: "I'm one who feels the cold, and then with these evening matches... I think it's riskier for the players, there are more muscular injuries. And I don't think it's good for the fans, either. I think the Lega [Calcio] should do something about it. In other championships they stop. Evening kick-offs could be avoided in Italy."
