LAZIO 2-2 INTER WOMEN

The Nerazzurre's winning run ends at 19

ROME - After 19 wins from 19 games, today was the first match that Sebastian De La Fuente’s side didn’t take all three points. Inter were twice pegged back with Coletta cancelling out Marinelli and Costi goals. Next, Inter Women will face Ravenna at the Suning Youth Development Centre in the penultimate match of the league campaign.

It took just three minutes for De La Fuente’s side to take the lead. A long ball from Merlo at the back fell for Marinelli who beat Natalucci. Lazio levelled in the 23rd minute with Coletta converting after Savini hit the post. Inter went ahead again in the 40th minute with a great free kick from Fabiana Costi that found the corner.

Lazio created more chances and levelled in the 70th minute with Coletta turning home from a Castiello assist. Inter aimed to respond but Rognoni fired over in the 81st minute from a good position. Lazio ended Inter’s 19-game winning run with a 2-2 draw.
