INTERNATIONALS: WINS FOR SKRINIAR AND PERISIC

The two Nerazzurri players played as Slovakia and Croatia won their Euro 2020 qualifiers

MILAN – Milan Skriniar and Ivan Perisic both played 90 minutes as Slovakia and Croatia won their Euro 2020 qualifying matches.

The Nerazzurri defender started and played the entire game as Slovakia beat Hungary 2-0 thanks to goals from Duda and Rusnak. Perisic was named in Zlatko Dalic’s starting line-up and remained on the pitch throughout as goals from Barisic and Kramaric secured a 2-1 win for Croatia against Azerbaijan.

Neither Marcelo Brozovic nor Stefan de Vrij got any match action, with the latter remaining a spectator during the Netherlands’ 4-0 victory against Belarus.
