MILAN - Inter ran out comfortable 3-0 winners against Udinese at the Suning Youth Development Centre in memory of Giacinto Facchetti on Sunday, with Armando Madonna’s side putting in a solid performance to keep a well-earned clean-sheet and secure eight points after four games. A brace from Adorante proved decisive, while Colidio then scored the game’s third with a late penalty. The Nerazzurri will be back in action after the international break, facing off against Fiorentina on Saturday 20 October at 13:00 CEST.

The first chance of the match fell to Inter, as Adorante turned toward goal but saw his shot saved by Gasparini. The Udinese goalkeeper then saved twice from the following corner. The 10th minute saw Inter’s pressure pay dividends, as Grassini played in Adorante who made no mistake in firing the home side in front. Inter’s second then came in the 46th minute, once again through Adorante.

Inter began on the front foot after the interval, with Udinese relying more and more heavily on the counter-attack. Gaviolo had a good effort in the 67th minute before Mazzolo was then sent off for Udinese just a minutes later. Madonna’s side eventually sealed it in the 80th minute, as the referee awarded a penalty for handball and then Colidio duly delivered from the spot.

INTER 3-0 UDINESE
Goalscorers: Adorante 10' and 46', Colidio 80'

INTER: 1 Dekic; 2 Grassini, 4 Nolan, 6 Van Den Eynden, 3 Corrado; 8 Gavioli (78' Ballabio 16), 5 Pompetti (63' Rizzo Pinna 17), 10 Schirò; 7 Mulattieri (63’ Persyn 13); 9 Adorante (33' st Vergani), 11 Colidio
Substitutes: 12 Tintori, 21 Pozzer, 14 Colombini, 15 Rizzo, 18 Burgio, 19 Demirovic, 20 D'Amico, 22 <a href="http://w0pp.inter.it/en/squadra/G1018/eddie-salcedo" title="Eddie Salcedo, Attaccante: His career, technical characteristics, statistics and number of appearances.
