TURIN - Luciano Spalletti’s Inter side continued their positive streak during their matchday 16 encounter at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on Saturday, maintaining their unbeaten record in Serie A this season. Following the final whistle, the Nerazzurri coach gave his verdict on their 0-0 draw against Juventus: “In the first 20 minutes, we kept the ball well right up to the edge of the area, passing it around nicely. However, in the second half, we lost too many balls considering our quality. When you come to this stadium and succeed in keeping a clean-sheet and take a point, then it’s good. However, we must quickly understand how we’ve earned a point from an encounter of this calibre thanks to our quality. We must be conscious of who and where we are and how we deserve it.
“We must not reduce our level of passion because in some moments we lacked the ruthlessness to trouble them and we were happy to just keep possession. More determination was needed to make the most of certain chances. We must aim for the maximum. Instead of just accepting compliments for not having lost yet, we must analyse why we haven’t won all of our matches. We have not managed to express our full potential tonight and we must be aware of this. Without this, it becomes difficult to reach the top in this league. We have everything to be protagonists and we must believe 100 percent in our potential.”
