MILAN – With Inter’s final match of 2016 against Lazio at San Siro on Wednesday approaching fast, we’ve teamed up with Opta to bring you all the need-to-know stats on the contest.

Wednesday will see the 147th match between the two sides in Italy’s top tier. The Nerazzurri will be looking to make it 60 wins against Lazio, who have beaten Inter 35 times. There has only been one draw in the last 16 matches between the two sides.

The Nerazzurri have scored at least once in each of their last 17 matches at San Siro, for an average of two goals per game. Lazio, however, have the best away record in Serie A, bar Juventus.

Inter have had more shots and crosses from open play than any other team in Serie A this season.

Joao Miranda’s next appearance will be his 50th in Serie A.

Mauro Icardi has scored twice in three league matches against Lazio at San Siro.

All three of Inter’s goalkeepers have been on Lazio’s books, as has Antonio Candreva.

Wednesday will be the first time Stefano Pioli has faced Lazio as Inter boss. Pioli has never locked horns with current Biancocelesti coach Simone Inzaghi.
