MILAN – Danilo D’Ambrosio has bemoaned Inter’s finishing in their 2-0 defeat to Hapoel Be’er Sheva on Thursday night.
"We weren’t clinical enough, especially in the first half when we should have scored. As long as it’s 0-0, sooner or later your opponents are going to get a chance," began the Italian full-back.
"Hapoel man marked us all over the pitch tonight. Our build-up play was far too slow. They grew in confidence after the break when we couldn’t find the breakthrough."
D’Ambrosio also looked forward to the visit of Juventus on Sunday.
"We play a tough side on Sunday but that’s football and you have to go for the win in every game. We hope to bounce back straight away."
