PRIMAVERA, INTER 2-1 PERUGIA

Goals by Appiah and Rapaic see Stefano Vecchi's U19s clinch top spot in Group B ahead of the Final Eight

1/13

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI – Inter Primavera signed off the regular season with a win over Perugia this afternoon.

Appiah opened the scoring when he met Rapaic's cross at the far post on 33 minutes but the lead was short-lived as the visitors equalised minutes later through Mirval.

Rapaic grabbed what proved to be the winner on 64 minutes when he raced onto Tchaoule's ball in behind and beat the onrushing Santopadre.

The Nerazzurri thus finish top of Group B on 60 points ahead of Atalanta, with the highest points haul in all three groups.

Stefano Vecchi's side will now start preparing for Final Eight, which are to be played from 27 May to 4 June.
