TERNI - Salvatore Cerrone's Primavera lads made it five league wins in a row (and 11 goals in their last two games) with a thoroughly convincing 5-0 victory away at Ternana this afternoon.
The Nerazzurri quickly put themselves in the driving seat with two goals inside the first eight minutes from Ventre and Capello. After the break, another quickfire double – Puscas and Capello again – within five minutes of the restart allowed Inter to slip into cruise control for the remainder of the second period. Capello completed his hat-trick in added time.
Cerrone's side will resume championship duties in the new
year with the rescheduled Week 8 fixture against AC Milan to be played on 12 January.
But before the Christmas break there's another big derby match to look
forward to: on Saturday 22 December the Rossoneri host the Nerazzurri in
the Coppa Italia quarter-finals
