TOYOTA - Yuto Nagatomo’s Japan was defeated 2-0 by Bulgaria in the Kirin
Challenge Cup friendly match played at the Toyota Stadium.
The Inter defender came on as a sub in the 46th minute for Komano and
received a booking in the 70th minute.
Japan will be back in action on Tuesday 4 June at the Saitama Stadium (19:30
local time) against Australia in a qualifier for the 2014 World Cup. Following
this, the final squad of 23 players will be named for their final group match
(fourth round) of Asian World Cup qualification against Iraq in Doha (11 June)
and for the Confederations Cup, which begins 15 June.
