MILAN – A quite incredible comeback. After a first half void of emotions which ended 1-0 to Udinese (Corrado on 25 minutes), a totally different Inter re-emerged after the break. And when Dia Pape doubled the visitors' lead, instead of letting their heads drop Daniele Bernazzani's boys rallied and completely turned the tables in the space of just seven minutes. Garritano's quick-fire brace from the spot (56, 58) drew the Nerazzurri level before Tassi came off the bench to angle home a clinical finish from the edge of the box in the 62nd minute.
The three points are even more important in light of AC Milan's away win at Chievo as it keeps the Nerazzurri on target for a top-two finish, which means automatic qualification to the Final Eight. Leaders Atalanta seem too far away to catch now but today's victory ensures Inter maintain a five-point lead over third-placed AC Milan, who have a game in hand. A second place that needs to be defended tooth and nail over the remaining four fixtures.
