Inter are unbeaten in their last 14 home matches and have scored at least once in all 14. Their most recent home defeat came on 23 September 2012 at the hands of Siena (0-2 in Serie A).

Andrea Stramaccioni and Paulo Sergio are squaring up for the first time as opposite coaches today. This is also the first ever meeting between Inter and Cluj.

The Nerazzurri are facing Romanian opposition for the 17th time, with their record currently standing at W10, D3, L3. Of the eight games contested in Milan, Inter have won six and drawn two, hitting the net 21 times in the process.

Cluj's record against Italian teams reads W1, D1, L2. All four fixtures have produced goals for both sides.

Tonight's match official is Michael Koukoulakis of Greece. The 37-year-old has been an international referee since 2008. He has never officiated a fixture involving Inter or Cluj before, but has overseen other Italian teams on two occasions, with one win and one draw for the Italians.
