MORATTI: "TRANSFERS FOR SQUAD DEMANDS"

"That's how we do things on our end. No regrets over Balotelli to AC Milan. We'll see how it turns out"

MILAN – Upon leaving the Saras offices, president Massimo Moratti responded to questions from awaiting journalists.

What is your take on AC Milan signing Balotelli now that it’s nearly official?

"Well then, it’s nearly official [smiling]. It’s a good signing, and it’s certainly one that we weren't able to and didn't need to make, since he's already played for us. It’s a gamble on AC Milan’s part, so we’ll see."

Do you feel a bit of regret, as certain Inter fans might feel?

"I have to be honest here: I’m very much an Inter fan, but I have no regrets. I see this as something that's useful to Berlusconi for a thousand different reasons. We’ll see how things turn out."

Are 20 million plus a 3-million bonus for the player too much?

"That’s their business."

Are Inter taking action in the transfer market as well, seeing that Kuzmanovic and Schelotto are on the verge of arriving?

"Yes, for other things. We’re working in the transfer market in accordance with what the squad needs. We’ll see."

Will Inter’s transfer activity end with these two players?

"I don’t know."
