DORTMUND – All this evening’s scoring took place in the first half. Inter took
the lead thanks to a splendid lob from Belloni after only 3 minutes, before
Weber drew the home side level on 36 minutes with a lovely header. In the
second half there were several chances for both sides but the score line
remained the same. The point that Inter’s Primavera team earned today in Germany
is crucial for qualification to the next phase. For the moment Daniele
Bernazzani’s lads are leading Group 5 (with 7 points) as they await the outcome
of Friday’s game between Rosenborg and Liverpool.
