TURIN – A visibly happy Andrea Ranocchia spoke to Inter Channel after the Nerazzurri's superb victory over Juventus: "It was amazing, quite amazing. I found it really difficult because Juve are a top team and they made it hard for us, but we dug deep and came away with three huge points. Marchisio causing us problems? We knew how good they are at making forward runs, that's what they excel at. They get lots of men into the box, but Samir did brilliantly and after that save we came back to life. We've got a lot better at dealing with games over 90 minutes. We knew it was going to be long and that we mustn't lose our focus."
The defender was asked if he expected the evening to turn out like it did: "I hoped it would. It always feels better when you come from behind because you also send out a signal about how strong you are. Was it better than the derby? It feels as good as winning the derby because Milan and Juve are our historical rivals. We'll go for it now while trying to hone our weaknesses and our strengths."
