MILAN (stats courtesy of Football Data) - This evening at 19:00 Inter face Partizan Belgrade for the third time in a European cup competition. The Serbian club are something of a lucky charm for the Nerazzurri, who have gone on to win the cup each time they have met tonight's opponents. In 1963/64 Inter won the European Cup (3-1 over Real Madrid in the final in Vienna) then in 1990/91 they lifted the UEFA Cup (beating Roma in the final, 2-0 in San Siro then 0-1 in the return leg at the Olimpico).
Partizan have kept just one clean sheet in their last 12 European trips: that was on 19 July 2011 when they managed a 0-1 away victory over Shkendija Tetovo. In the other 11 games in that period the Serbs have conceded a total of 19 goals.
