PRIMAVERA: VARESE 0-1 INTER

Garritano's strike sees Nerazzurri U-19s emerge victorious from a tough game and rack up 5th successive league win

VARESE – Another win for Daniele Bernazzani's Primavera as they notched up their fifth in as many games to come away from Varese with all three points.

It was a stern test for the Nerazzurri Under-19s, just three days after their victory over Borussia Dortmund in the NextGen Series, against a Varese side that rarely loses at home. The first 45 minutes saw the two teams have a good go at each other without making the breakthrough, but Inter managed it a minute after the break. Olsen played a decent ball forward for Garritano, who took advantage of some sloppy defending from Donadoni to sidefoot past Di Graci in the hosts' goal. Belloni was sent off in the 73rd minute but the Nerazzurri held firm to seal another hard-fought win at a difficult ground.

Bernazzani's boys now go into a two-week break from the Campionato Primavera sitting comfortably atop Group B with maximum points after five games.
