MILAN – The man of the match against Vaslui was Javier Zanetti, speaking to Sky Sport Italia, who first clarified: "It’s not just down to me. All of us made a great effort. It wasn't easy and we made things difficult for ourselves. But then with great determination and character we were able to go through. In football you can never take anything for granted. We saw that with Hajduk and we saw it tonight with Vaslui. What matters is that the team continue to grow."
Roma will arrive at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday for the second league match of the season. Zanetti was asked whether it might give us an early sign of what lies ahead: "It’s too soon. Two highly motivated teams will face off and I think it will be a great match."
