OLYMPICS: JUAN INTO SEMIS WITH BRAZIL

Seleção beat Honduras 3-2 in today's quarter-final. Nerazzurri defender played the full game

LONDON - Brazil have booked their place in the Olympics semi-finals. The Seleção beat a stubborn Honduras side 3-2 in this afternoon's quarter-final clash at St James Park, with Nerazzurri defender Juan playing the full 90 minutes.

Martinez lashed Honduras in front with a volleyed lob before Damiao slid home from close range to level. Despite being a man down, the Hondurans managed to get their noses in front again soon after the restart thanks to a fine solo effort from Espinoza, but their lead was quickly cancelled out as Neymar converted from the spot. Damiao then grabbed his second of the game to clinch victory for Brazil.
