GLASGOW – The second match as a starter for Andrea Ranocchia, who had his say on Inter's latest friendly in this summer pre-season period: "I feel good. I've worked so hard this summer to make up for a year that didn't go terribly well. Today both teams put in a physical effort and made their presence felt. We've made a great improvement since the beginning of pre-season, which started on 3 July. Now we face our first competitive match in Split and we'll arrive ready for it both mentally and physically. We didn't want to lose against Celtic today and if we'd had a few more minutes to play then maybe we could have won."
