BARI - Andrea Stramaccioni spoke to Mediaset after watching his players beat Juventus 1-0 in this evening's TIM Trophy opener: "As a team Juventus are perhaps more used to playing together but after the first 10 minutes, in which we struggled, we found our feet and started to look dangerous."
The Nerazzurri coach was asked to explain the tactical adjustments he made during the game: "Switching from four to three at the back? We started off with four, but we were struggling on Lichtsteiner's side so Zanetti gave me a hand. You can do the maths..."
Finally, Stramaccioni looked ahead to his team's first competitive fixtures, with a Europa League qualifier awaiting Inter on 2 and 9 August: "Unlike Juventus and AC Milan we have to make sure we're ready before the season begins. That's why we're working so hard and I can say that this match against Juventus was a good test."
