GIOVANISSIMI N.: ON THE ROAD TO SHANGHAI

On Saturday 21 July at the prestigious "Manchester United Premier Cup 2012" international tournament

MILAN – Inter's Giovanissimi Nazionali, coached by SalvatoreCerrone, arrived today in Shanghai for the world finals of the Manchester United Premier Cup 2012 (MUPC).

Having triumphed in the Italian edition last February, they will be competing against 19 teams that were champions in their respective countries (among which are Boca Juniors, Santos, Dinamo Zagreb, Athletic Bilbao and Celtic). The tournament, organised by Manchester United, will take place at the "Shanghai Shenhua Training Ground."

Since 1993, the MUPC has been a proving ground for young talent, eager to test themselves against their peers and hoping to one day see their dreams become realised of becoming professional footballers.

There will be four groups, each consisting of five teams (the draw is scheduled for Friday 20 July). The tournament will run from Saturday 21 to Wednesday 25 July, with two games per day scheduled.

Tomorrow, the Nerazzurri will undergo their first training session (sessions will proceed until Friday) before then spending the rest of the day on a sightseeing tour.
