MILAN - Giorgio Muggiani junior passed away in Menaggio, Como, this morning at the age of 85. His name takes us to the very root of our history: his father, Giorgio Muggiani, was one of Inter's founding fathers, the club's first secretary and author of our crest.
Giorgio junior, who lost his father at the young age of ten, studied in Switzerland before volunteering to sign up to the army at 16. He later founded a student movement, which was to become his great passion in life along with politics.
