MORATTI: "ON STRAMACCIONI, I'LL SAY THIS..."

"He's a character with personality. I support the notion of keeping him, it'd be the right choice"

MILAN - Massimo Moratti had a few words for Sky Sport Italia as he arrived at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza for Inter v Cesena. The Nerazzurri president was asked if today's game wouldn't be easy from an emotional perspective. "It won't be easy from a technical perspective, we saw them against Juventus, they're quick and they've got quality front players. From an emotional perspective it won't be easy but we're used to that by now. All our remaining games will be important, looking at the other results, this won't be the last game we'll have to suffer over."

Moratti watched yesterday's training session at Appiano Gentile. Was that his way of supporting the team before a tough game? "They're all difficult," he explained. "But I enjoy following our coach, he's got character and a strong personality and he's bright. I like to keep an eye on what he does, I think he can get us positive results, which will be important going forward. I support the idea of continuing with him, I think we'd be right to do so. With the help of Leonardo? We're talking about the coach, everything else is just talk in the papers and even I am trying to figure out what's being written."

Finally a comment on the transfer rumours suggesting Lavezzi could move to Inter. "I hear this every year, last year it was the same. I heard that the coach wanted him but I didn't sign him. Perhaps Napoli keep him because he's a great player or because they want a big fee for him. We'll see, if we think it's the right thing to do, who knows. If not, there are a number of great footballers around."
