APPIANO GENTILE – There were two separate groups, each following the same training regimen, as per the instructions of Andrea Stramaccioni and the coaching staff. On one side was the main group, which included 7 lads added from the Primavera squad: defenders and full-backs Rodrigo Alborno ('93), Marek Kisela ('92), Ibrahima Mbaye ('94) and Simone Pecorini ('93), midfielders Joseph Alfred Duncan ('93) and Andrea Romanò ('93), and forward Marko Livaja ('93).
The second group included
Ricardo Alvarez, Maicon, Wesley Sneijder and Dejan Stankovic and their workout
was adapted for their current conditioning. After his personalised session
yesterday Julio Cesar returned to work with Luca Castellazzi, Paolo Orlandoni,
Raffaele Di Gennaro ('93) and goalkeeping coach Alessandro Nista. After the
initial warm-up all of the players took part in technical and tactical
exercises, an athletic phase with the ball and then further technical and
tactical exercises.
Tomorrow, once again at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in La Pinetina, will
be the 3rd session ahead of the Fiorentina v Inter match on Sunday.
