APPIANO - Fredy Guarin wishes to stress his disappointment at the way some of his comments were interpreted in the interview published in yesterday's edition of Portuguese daily O Jogo. Having already clarified the matter via his personal Twitter profile, the midfielder made the following statement to inter.it:
"Speaking about my former team-mate James Rodriguez, I underlined his
qualities and answered a specific question about his possible future, but I never offended Porto or Portuguese football, to which I am extremely grateful and where I had some fantastic times. I am sorry that some people in Portugal have been given the wrong impression of me because O Jogo misinterpreted my words."
