MILAN - "People haven't seen the real Forlan since I joined Inter," said the former Atlético Madrid striker. "I'm really happy here. It's been a difficult season for me because of my injury and because of what the team has been through. Things don't always go well. I've had some difficult times during my career: you have to work out where you're going wrong and put in the work to change it."
He added: "I'm taking it one game at a time, as I've always done. I know I can be a success and I'll always try my hardest. When I play well I'm the first to be delighted, but at the moment I'm not pleased."
Forlan doesn't see his future elsewhere: "I wouldn't like to leave Inter like this. I enjoy the challenge, I enjoy playing and doing well. I've always wanted to join Inter and now that I have the chance I don't want to part ways when the team's not having a good spell. I want to stay here and be successful."
