APPIANO GENTILE - Under the eyes of Italian national football team coach Cesare
Prandelli, who made a stop at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in La Pinetina
on his tour of teams ahead of the European Championship, Inter underwent their
second training session ahead of the midweek clash against Siena, followed as
always by sporting director Piero Ausilio and technical consultant Gianfranco
Bedin.
In the first part of the session, after the warm-up, Andrea Stramaccioni had
all available Nerazzurri players involved in specific technical and tactical
exercises. In the second part, however, the players who saw the most action in
Trieste against Cagliari took part in a light session, while the others
completed the workout with a training match on a reduced pitch. Ricardo Alvarez
was with the group, while Maicon and Wesley Sneijder underwent specific
recovery programmes that also took place on the pitch. Also added to the 1st
team for the session were the following players: full-back Ibrahima Mbaye
(1994), midfielder and Primavera captain Andrea Romanò (1993) and forward Marko Livaja (1993).
Tomorrow at 15:00 there will be a pre-match press conference with Andrea
Stramaccioni. Then there will be another training session and the announcement
of the squad before the team retires ahead of the match. Follow the
developments live on inter.it and Inter Channel.
