MILAN - Inter youth academy director Roberto Samaden spoke to Inter Channel about the Nerazzurri Primavera's victory over AC Milan: "Today was a victory for the team and the group - a quality that we've often taken onto the pitch in the games that count. We were in control of things in the first half; in the second half we scored when Milan were trying to push for a goal. In any case I think we deserved the result. I was very happy with the team; they always tried to play the ball and they gave nothing away to the opposition."
Samaden went on with his analysis: "After the interval Milan had the upper hand, but they had five players from 1992 in the team and one older player, so I'm sure we lost out a bit from a physical point of view. Nonetheless we managed to take the lead and after we scored we continued to control the game. Di Gennaro was only seriously tested once, when he threw himself at the feet of Ganz, so I see it as a positive performance."
Asked for a comment on the forthcoming NextGen Series match, the youth academy director cut short: "We must think about the league. We have two games next week; we have to face Varese and Cesena and we must concentrate on those matches."
