MILAN - Watched by chief executive Ernesto Paolillo, sporting director Piero Ausilio and lawyer Angelo Cappellini, Inter Primavera beat AC Milan 2-0 this afternoon to complete a league double over their city rivals. Both goals came in the second half: Mbaye leapt high to head home Crisetig's whipped cross following Bessa's short corner in the 62nd minute, then Bessa fired in from close range deep into stoppage time after Crisetig played a neat one-two with Romanò and pulled back from the byline.
AC Milan rarely troubled the Nerazzurri defence: Ganz had a goal ruled out on the stroke of half time but there was a clear offside, then with Inter 1-0 up Di Gennaro rushed off his line to make a timely intervention as Ganz was clean through on goal.
The win takes the Nerazzurri above AC Milan in the table and up to 36 points.
