MILAN - After getting knocked out of the Viareggio Tournament by Parma on penalties, the Nerazzurri Primavera now turn their attention back to the league and the NextGen Series. Andrea Stramaccioni's side - Italy's only representatives in the youth Champions League - qualified for the knockout stage after finishing second behind Tottenham in a group that included PSV and Basel. In the quarter-finals a goal in Portugal by Ibrahima Mbaye saw off Sporting Lisbon to put Inter through to the last four.

Barcelona - Ajax 0-3
Tottenham - Liverpool 1-0
Aston Villa - Marseille 1-2
Sporting - Inter 0-1.
The Nerazzurri will play French side Marseille on 21 March at Griffin Park in West London, League One team Brentford's 13,000 seater stadium. The other semi-final will see Liverpool pitted against Ajax on 14 March. Tottenham, who beat Liverpool in the quarter-finals, were disqualified for an accidental breach of tournament rules.
