APPIANO GENTILE – There was a 45-minute final training session before Inter v
Genoa, the round of 16 Coppa Italia match to be played tomorrow evening at the
Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in the San Siro district of Milan (kick-off at 21:00).
After an athletic warm-up, the group underwent tactical exercises and a
training match. There were individual sessions for Philippe Coutinho (with
lower back pain), Walter Samuel and Giampaolo Pazzini. Julio Cesar also
underwent part of the session doing work with the goalkeepers. Dejan Stankovic
had treatment, physiotherapy and work in the gym. Sulley Muntari is away with
the Ghana national team at the Africa Cup of Nations, while Jonathan has
already arrived in Parma where he will play on loan; the paperwork for the
transfer is expected to be completed in the coming days. Lorenzo Crisetig was
added to the Andrea Stramaccioni's Primavera team.
Those who are in the squad will stay overnight at the Centro Sportivo Angelo
Moratti in Appiano Gentile.
