APPIANO GENTILE – The day has ended at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti with
the second workout of the day lasting approximately 70 minutes. After lunch and
a rest, and in the presence of technical director Marco Branca and sporting
director Piero Ausilio, Inter underwent differentiated work this afternoon, in
a groups on the pitch, or in personalised workouts (for Esteban Cambiasso,
Diego Forlan, Andrea Poli and Dejan Stankovic, who worked out in the morning
with their team-mates; Giampaolo Pazzini was with the group after individual training
in the morning). Cristian Chivu and Jonathan did recovery work. Wesley Sneijder
trained alone, partially on the pitch with aerobic and change of rhythm work.
Emiliano Viviano enjoyed a session with the goalkeepers. New father Mauro
Zarate was absent, as was Sulley Muntari, who is with the Ghana national team
for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 4 January 2012, only one training session will be held,
closed-door, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in the San Siro district in order to
test the new turf ahead of the first match of 2012, scheduled for Saturday 7
January against Parma (kick-off at 20:45).
