They have scored 22.7% of Inter's goals this season and are a close second behind Udinese

MILAN (Football Data stats) – As they begin their Christmas holidays Inter, who have won six out of the last seven league matches, have their defenders to thank for it: the Nerazzurri team, considering the percentage ratio of goals scored by the team related to the various departments, is second in Serie A 2011/12 considering goals scored by the defence: 5 in all; 2 of them by Nagatomo, and 1 each by Lucio, Maicon and Ranocchia.

This is equal to 22.7% of the total number of goals scored by the Nerazzurri this season. Only Udinese can better that with 5 goals from a total of 20 coming from defenders, or 25% of the total goals scored.
