APPIANO GENTILE - An hour's workout on the pitch, a toast in the dressing room for new dad Giampaolo Pazzini, who was back after being given yesterday off, and explanations regarding the personalised programmes the players will follow during the Christmas holidays. On 2 January 2012 the Nerazzurri will report back to start preparing for the first match of the new year: on Saturday 7 January 2012 Inter host Parma at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in a 20:45 kick-off.
The last training session of 2011 saw the Nerazzurri divided into groups. The fit players, working on the main pitch, did an athletic warm-up, technical and tactical drills and training matches.
The second group (Davide Faraoni and Andrea Poli) did specific individual work, while the third was made up of players following personalised rehabilitation programmes: Cristian Chivu, Jonathan, Wesley Sneijder, Dejan Stankovic and Emiliano Viviano.
Ricardo Alvarez, Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, Julio Cesar, Maicon and Sulley Muntari were given the day off.
