CUPER: "WE CHANGED MODULE AND ANOTHER PLAYER AT HALF TIME, BUT THEIR SECOND GOAL WAS A HEAVY BLOW"

MILAN - Inter coach Hector Cuper gave his analysis of Sunday night's Milan derby in a post-match interview with RAI.

He said: "The problem in the first half was in van der Meyde's zone. He couldn't find his position and he didn't manage to oppose Pancaro and Seedorf.

"We played well in the first fifteen minutes and we were at least on the same level as Milan. I didn't see many scoring chances at the start. Then there was a bit of bad luck - Pirlo's free kick deflected by Inzaghi two minutes after the substitution... This episode created difficulties and there were ten minutes of insecurity and disorder.

"During the interval we changed module and another player. I thought this would help us draw level but after just a few seconds their second goal came. This doesn't take any credit away from Milan but it really was heavy blow for us."
