MILAN - Inter recorded a 1-0 win against a stubborn Venezia team thanks to Peschetola’s 36th minute goal on matchday six of the Under-16 Serie A and B season. Gabriele Bonacina’s team thus kept up their perfect record, with the Nerazzurri having won five wins in as many games (no game on matchday two) in the league.

The match between Inter and Venice was very intense and hard-fought from the beginning. Both teams looked to attack but were also careful not to give each other too much space. Inter did, however, manage to break the deadlock when Peschetola fired home after 36 minutes. And the Nerazzurri almost doubled their lead through Benedetti; his effort, however, hit the post. The second half began with Inter in the ascendency, but Gabriele Bonacina’s team weren’t able to convert the chances that came their way, with both Politi and Gnonto going close. The visitors thus remained in the game but never really troubled Magri in the Inter goal. The Nerazzurri thus secured a 1-0 win and remain top of the league.

Up next for Gabriele Bonacina’s team in the Under-16 Serie A and B season is an away match against Bologna.
