INTER VS. UDINESE: STATS AND TRIVIA

MILAN – After progressing to the TIMCup quarter finals, Inter go back playing in the league. As a matter of fact, the Nerazzurri will take on Udinese at the San Siro on Saturday at 15:00 CET. In collaboration with Opta, here are all the stats and bits of trivia ahead of the encounter.

Inter have won 43 out of 88 games against Udinese in the league, drawing 25 and losing 20. In addition, the Nerazzurri have won their last 5 league meetings against Udinese scoring 16 and conceding 5. The last time Inter remained unbeaten after 16 league matches was in 2007/08, when they eventually won the title.

Éder has scored eight goals in 11 Serie A matches against Udinese (the team he has scored the most goals against). He has also scored his only Serie A brace for Inter against the side from Friuli, it happened in the latest clash at the Meazza.

Mauro Icardi has scored four goals against Udinese in Serie A. Nevertheless, three of those came away from the San Siro. Among the players with at least 15 shots, Icardi has the best scoring ratio (39%).

Ivan Perisic has scored three goals against Udinese in Serie A. He has only scored more goals against Chievo in Serie A (four). Marcelo Brozovic has scored twice against Udinese in Serie A, he hasn’t scored against any other team more than twice.

Borja Valero too boasts two goals against Udinese in Serie A. The Spaniard has only scored more goals against Verona (four). Matías Vecino’s first Serie A goal came against Udinese in March 2014, when he was playing for Cagliari.

Samir Handanovic made 182 Serie A appearances for Udinese over two spells: the 2004/05 season and between 2007/08 and 2011/12. Between the keepers with at least three appearances in the current league, Handanovic has the best ratio of saves to shots (81%, joint with Alisson).
