MILAN - Speaking just minutes prior to Sunday's match against Torino, Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio had this to say to Premium Sport: "Spalletti has opted for the same team in recent weeks. The squad has no physical problems, the lads are motivated mentally and those who are not playing want to create problems for the boss in terms of his selections. The coach has told me we've got the right squad here and he is very happy with this group of players, who are all giving their maximum.
Also highlighting their plans for the winter transfer market: "I think that there will be very few opportunities in January. It is difficult sign good players. Obviously if there is a chance to improve then we will try to be ready."
Lastly, Ausilio also praised the recent work put in by Perisic: "I've not been surprised by Ivan's performances. He is a player that has decided to completely commit himself to our project. He is a great professional and he takes care of every detail. His attitude brings him results out on the pitch."
