MILAN – The long and glorious traditions of F.C. Internazionale have been forged by the many hundreds of people who have channelled their energy into furthering the Nerazzurri cause over the years.
While the Inter Forever stars wowed the Nerazzurri fans on the pitch, the Inter Club members have always supported the team – no matter where in the world they hail from.
The season just finished saw many Inter legends honour delegations from Inter Clubs in the home of the Nerazzurri: the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, packed to the rafters with our passionate fans. Let’s hear from a few of the lucky members to have been invited onto the San Siro turf this season.
"It really was a unique experience to see the team warm up in front of you, stand right next to the Inter dugout and be on the sidelines to receive an award from two Inter Forever legends," said Inter Club Terranova da Sibari secretary Saverio Di Pace.
"We were delighted to receive an award on the pitch. It took our breath away to mark our tenth anniversary by accepting a personalised jersey from Lothar Matthaus himself – it was indescribable," added Inter Club Giuliano Nerazzurra president Giuseppe Cipolletta.
"There was so much adrenaline – I feel very proud. It was an amazing feeling to be at San Siro with all those people and have a Nerazzurri legend present you with a commemorative jersey," said Inter Club Galliate secretary Alberto Bacchetta.
