MILAN – The Nerazzurri are in action on Monday night this week with Fiorentina the visitors to the Stadio Meazza for a 21:00 CET kick-off. With the help of our friends at Opta, we've compiled a few facts and figures ahead of the encounter.

This is the 157th Serie A meeting between Inter and Fiorentina. Previous matches have yielded 63 Nerazzurri wins, 50 draws and 43 Viola victories. Fiorentina are the team that Inter have recorded the second most home wins against (45) in the top flight.

Antonio Candreva, the player who has put in the most crosses in Serie A, opened his Nerazzurri account against AC Milan last weekend. His next goal will be his 50th in the league.

Serie A top scorer Mauro Icardi scored two goals in each of his last two home games.

Stevan Jovetic and Felipe Melo could face their former club on Monday. The striker plied his trade in Florence from 2008 to 2013 while the midfielder spent the 2008/09 season there. The Viola have a former Inter player in their ranks: Mauro Zarate, who wore the black-and-blue stripes in 2011/12.

Stefano Pioli and Paulo Sousa will also be facing their former clubs: both turned out for their opponents on Monday during their respective playing careers.
