A few days shy of his 42nd birthday, we look back at the match decided by a brace from El Jardinero

MILAN - The star of this week's #ThrowbackThursday is a striker who played for the Nerazzurri not so long ago - Julio Ricardo Cruz.

We take a trip down memory lane, to Inter v Napoli on 6 October 2007. Roberto Mancini's Nerazzurri side came into the Week 7 match on the back of hitting four against Roma and beating PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.

Cruz opened the scoring on 20 minutes after a nice piece of play from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Then, ten minutes before the break, El Jardinero bagged a second following a pinpoint pass from Dejan Stankovic. The Argentine showed great control before rifling the ball into the corner with his left foot. Cruz's double secured all three points for Inter, with Roberto Sosa scoring a late consolation for the visitors.

A special win to relive and share with Inter fans a few days before Julio Cruz's 42nd birthday.
