BRUNICO – Nerazzurri fever descended on Brunico's Rathaus Platz this evening as the team and the new home and away strips for 2016/17 were presented to the fans.

The first to appear on stage in the square was club captain Mauro Icardi, along with Yuto Nagatomo and Andrea Pinamonti, all three donning Inter's stunning new home kit.

“I want to thank you all for being here. It's really important for us to feel the support of our fans,” the Argentine explained.

“Having you guys close by makes it all the more special and makes it easier for us to prepare for the season ahead. Hopefully we'll enjoy ourselves.”

Next up, modelling the away kit, were Geoffrey Kondogbia, Rodrigo Palacio and Senna Miangue.

"I hope to keep doing even better and improve game after game – and above all I hope we win,” the French midfielder said.

Roberto Mancini then made his entrance to the sound of rapturous applause and cheering.

“Our fans are amazing, they always have been,” the boss began. “They're always there for us at the stadium – we had the biggest crowds in Serie A last year. Even those who can't make it to San Siro watch us on TV in record numbers.

“I've been here to Brunico lots of times and it's the best place to prepare for the season. We really like it here and normally it brings us luck too!”
