MILAN – Eder Citadin Martins joined Inter during the January transfer window and went straight into Roberto Mancini's team.
Some of his season highlights include his debut against Chievo Verona, which he followed up with a great performance against Juventus in the Coppa Italia and his first Nerazzurri goal against Udinese.
The Italy striker came alive in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against the Bianconeri, coming in off the wing to deliver a beautiful assist for Ivan Perisic's goal for 2-0 – a one-two with Adem Ljajic, a whipped cross to the far post and an easy finish for the Croatian.
The black-and-white shirt proved a lucky charm for Eder on another occasion as well, when he opened his goalscoring account for Inter against Udinese. The Nerazzurri No.23 got in front of onrushing goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis to finish off a counter-attack in the 95th minute and put the cherry on top of an excellent performance.
