ZINGONIA – After victory in the Torneo Annovazzi, Inter U15 ended the regular season with an away defeat to top-of-the-table Atalanta.
After an even first half, the match came to life after the restart. Stefano Bellinzaghi's boys couldn't deal with the opposition's greater physicality and found themselves trailing by two fifteen minutes into the second half.
Selomon Mangiarotti reduced the deficit a minute later when he buried an Alessandro D'Aversa cross but then tiredness crept into the Nerazzurri's game and they couldn't complete the comeback.
Thanks to their second-place finish after 22 games, Inter have earned their spot in the Round of 16 of this season's final stage to be played in May.
