MILAN – F.C. Internazionale held its annual Christmas dinner for official club partners on Wednesday night, with Roberto Mancini’s first-team squad joining in the festivities too.
The Nerazzurri presented each sponsor with a special jersey, before Michael Bolingbroke and Michael Gandler thanked the partners for their continued collaboration and called a toast.
Roberto Mancini, who was one of the first to arrive, spoke live to Inter Channel: "Inter are a massive club and these events are important. It will be a lovely evening."
Dejan Stankovic was the next to say a few words: "These nights are fantastic, it’s always a pleasure to be involved on evenings such as this.
"In our next match I’m expecting Lazio to fight tooth and nail as I’m sure they want to get back on track. I’m really proud of how our team is performing."
Javier Zanetti was next in front of the cameras: "Inter is one big family and especially at Christmas those values are fundamental. It’s lovely to take part in these events."
Danilo D’Ambrosio spoke next: "It was really important for us to get through in the Coppa Italia because we wanted to keep winning. Now we’re focused on Lazio and on performing well on Sunday."
Last but not least was sporting director Piero Ausilio: "The side is working hard and gelling well. Will we be signing anyone in January? Look, we just need to work hard – our goal is to return to the Champions League."
