BOLOGNA – Inter stopper Samir Handanovic also stopped to share his thoughts post Bologna v Inter.
"My job is to make saves and I didn't have to do my job today until the final minute. We were subdued in the first half and we didn't start the game well, but we improved in the second half.
"As for my save at the end, I had to be ready at the key moment. It was a crucial save due to the timing when it came: right at the end of the match.
"We played like we did against Palermo in the opening 30 minutes today. We need to be more aggressive from the first minute. Nevertheless, the main thing was to get the win and we've done that. Now let's rest up a bit and then start thinking straight away about Roma. That will be a big test in our home stadium.
"We've been working hard on the defensive side of things right from the word go. Everyone knows that you need to put the hours in at the back in Italy.
"As for any renewal of my contract, there are no problems there. The club and I are in total agreement. The whole team has a lot of work to do and we need to add more fluidity to our game.
"The save is worth so much because of its timing, but there was a bit of luck in there along with skill. We need to change our approach at the start of games if we want to stay among the top positions. Let's recover from this and start training for Saturday.
"It is strange that we seemed to play better with ten. We also gifted them the opening 45 without causing any danger. Maybe we should change our mentality. If we intend on fighting for the top positions, we need to make some changes to our game.
"The atmosphere when you're winning is different, the team is flying right now. We've got another match coming up on Saturday and we need to recover before then, plain and simple.
