SHANGHAI – There was a morning training session for Inter at Shanghai’s Century Park today on what is proving to be the hottest day of the Nerazzurri’s stay in the city.
Roberto Mancini kicked things off with a short briefing, before getting the squad warmed up and splitting them into two groups according to how much of the Bayern match they played.
Those most involved yesterday did some running, with the intensity ramping up as the session progressed, and some stretching. The players who didn’t see so much action against the Bavarians had a more complete session, with running, stretching, practice games and possession drills keeping the tempo high.
It was a sweltering session, with each player taking on over three litres of water to stay hydrated.
